Challah cover displaying a Jerusalem cityscape in soft, serene tones, on a textured white fabric that recalls the iconic Jerusalem stone that the buildings of the city are made of. The golden text is a play on the song that’s sung at weddings, a prayer that the sounds of happiness and celebration will continually be heard in the streets of Jerusalem, with the word “challah” replacing the similar word “kallah” (bride). The text can be replaced with your family name or other passage of choice.

Welcome to Beití
The Hebrew word beití has several meanings: 'my home', 'for the home', 'home-made'. Any of these translations are fitting for Beití Designs. The products are designed, created and packaged in my home, to be enjoyed in yours.
My focus is original designs, high quality and interesting fabrics, and a love for our eternal homeland. Personal connections are woven through the designs - memories of the day in 2016 when my sister took me down to the south of Israel to see the glorious kalanit fields are baked into the 'darom adom' designs. The 'duchening hands' towels are an embroidered reproduction of my father's hand formation when he does birchat kohanim. My daughter half-jokingly suggested putting pigeons on the Kotel challah cover, and I surprised myself by digitizing the cutest little pigeons I've ever seen.
When my friend Shira and I first came up with the concept of this business, we talked about using interesting, premium materials to bring my designs to life. I love the softness and heft of the chenille and the beautiful sheen of the woven linen in the challah cover fabrics, and am excited to share them with all of you.
I hope you enjoy my creations either as they are, or customized with your name or other text that speaks to you. Feel free to send a note if you'd like the words to be embroidered in a different color from a design than what's displayed in the sample, or if you have any other requests. I look forward to enhancing the beauty of your home, your Shabbat and holidays, or providing a gift to present to someone you care about.
From my home to yours, Sarah
